This is the year of the football world cup - Fifa World Cup 2010™. As all of you know, this year’s Fifa World Cup™ is being held at South Africa and is between 32 countries from all around the world . As always, hundreds of countries across all the continents vie for a spot in this sports extravaganza, playing the qualifying rounds in their respective countries, only 32 get the chance to play in the final competition and become immortal among their countrymen as well as the world.
World Cup football™ however , is not just 15 players from 32 teams and their coaches - it is about all the fans making trips from across the world to cheer up their favourite teams, it is about millions of people watching it on television, at their homes, in groups, clubs , bars and celebrating their victories or rejoicing. The World Cup of today is also no longer just a sports event. It is a cultural event. Wherever the Fifa World Cup™ is held, the country / cities get uplifted infrastructuraly, for being a worthy host to a mega sporting event, and to tens and thousands of visitors from all around the world.
These visitors who will be coming to South Africa this year, will not only be watching the football, but they will like to indulge in anything related to World Cup 2010™. It could be in the form of T-shirts, Caps, cloned uniforms of their favourite teams, Keychains, laptop covers, Cell phone accessories, and much more.
Keeping this in mind, we at Wrappz have decided to build a huge collection of World Cup themed laptop covers, skins for iPods for all the 32 teams, special Nintendo Wii skins and Fifa World Cup™ themed iPhone and Blackberry skins.
